Question:  How much do you charge to officiate a wedding?

Our advertised price for a wedding is $500. There are some variables, so contact us with your unique needs so we can understand how to be of service to you.

Question:  How far ahead do I have to reserve you?

Please get in touch with us soon as possible.

The more time we have to work with you and plan, the better.

Question:  Do you go to any venue?

We are preferred vendors at numerous locations in and around the Orillia area. We can also assist you in finding the perfect location as we have officiated weddings in all corners of Simcoe County and many in Muskoka/Haliburton too.

Question:  How far do you travel?

We are licensed as Wedding Officiants in the Province of Ontario, but there is no extra charge if your wedding takes place in Simcoe County.  Call us or send an email to find out for sure.

Rev Julie is trained and licensed to perform same sex marriages and has married numerous same sex couples.

Question:  What if you get sick and can't officiate my wedding?

That's the beauty of Orillia Wedding Officiants.  If an emergency arises, we have back up.  And we have a long history of working with many other officiants in our region.  We've never left a couple stranded!

Question:  Can I write my own vows?

Yes, and we're happy to help you with the wording.

Question:  Who does all the paperwork?

Contact your local City Hall or anywhere in Ontario. Many clerks are asking you to apply online. You will be given an  appointment to come in person once you have filled out a preliminary form and scanned your ID. At the in-person appointment they will collect your fee.

Question:  Are your marriage ceremonies legal?

Yes!  We are ordained to officiate marriages and we're authorized and licensed by the Province of Ontario.  So if we officiate at your wedding we will declare you legally married!

Question: Can we have friends or family participate?

Absolutely!  We have plenty of ideas for how your friends, family, children and even pets can take part in the ceremony. These are just some of the things we will plan with you leading up to your big day!
